Food for Thought...

Right... I can't sleep and yet I will have to wake up in about 3 hours time... Yay~

So what do I do? Type this meaningless post of course! XD

That and downloading yesterday's Himitsu cos it rocked so damned hard XD

Heh, looking at some posts in Arashi communities in LJ, looks like the 2nd part of yesterday's episode will be going down as one of the worst episode in Himitsu's history (I may be exaggerating here, but yeah, you only have to read the comments in the posts to see that I'm not the only one doing the exaggeration here >_>...)

My perspective may be warped or something but I really can't see the difference between doing what they did to Nino and the Mote Arashi! Dame Arashi! segment, well I guess the staff shouldn't Pr'd it like they did (cos I have been expecting something like USO! Japan) but I guess I kinda spoiled it for myself cos after last week's episode I went ahead and rewatched the Aki SP, and yeah, it's kinda obvious it was Nino. Back to the point, Mote Arashi! Dame Arashi!...? Just because it is a frequent segment in Himitsu does not make it ok to just dump people into freeezing cold water. I don't really mind Mote Arashi! Dame Arashi! segment and that is the reason I don't really mind what they did to Nino.. Besides, do you think Nino will EVER be a Dame Arashi? I mean, his answers were all very carefully thought of, and he seems like he is making an effort not to get chosen as Dame Arashi, so is it really fair that only the other four either get dumped into the ice water (Jun, Sho, Aiba) or bullied in VIP Room (Ohno), the only way to 'get' Nino back is through these kind of lame dokkiris or whatever, and really, the boy really kinda asked for it.

Huh.... Long winding paragraph is long winding paragraph *snort!*.

Ouh on another note, I hope there will be more Yaya Arashi in future HaneTobi eps COS.I.FREAKING.LOVE.THEM XDDD. And of course KingKong's Nishino gets the role of the normal-looking-manager >_> I want him as a Yaya Arashi member dammit!!!! Robert, KingKong and DrunkDragon will be forever be in my heart as Yaya Arashi XD *chants for a Yaya Arashi and Arashi collab XD* Ouh Geinin-san, all of you will be a very pivotal aspect for me to keep fangirling Arashi! <3333

Extra information: KinKon's Nishino is also one of the people in my good looking men born in 1980 XD In the list are Okada-kun, ATSUSHI, Nishino and not forgetting Ohno-kun.....1980 rocks!

Viva! Viva! Buiroku!!!! XDDD

Just like what the title states, I am currently in a one-month-long V6 phase XD which really means watching their cons, bangumi's and all other miscellaneous videos out there. All that plus all the usual Arashi weekly bangumis and dramas and not forgetting RL stuffs pretty much explains my absence in the internet world XD

Yeah.

On to spazzing on V6 XD Where do I even start? The number one motivation for me to actually follow them would be Okada Junichi, after seeing him act in KCE with Sho and realizing that I have seen him somewhere before this only THEN realizing that I have seen him in a PV before(V6's Feel your breeze PV, Gokusen's ending theme song). I was JUNichi-baited(XD ouh the coincedence, both with the name Jun, both the youngest member, both the most prone to have nude photoshoots XDDDDD *ehem*, both have a inner-group persona and outer-group persona(and the gaps between the 2 personas are huge, especially true in Okada's case. I seriously think that I can type a whole post about the persona gaps of Okada XD), both have the cutest relationship with their respective eldest in the group and yeah, I love them both XD)

Just like Arashi, V6 were formed as the image character for the 1995 Volleyball World Cup, also just like Arashi, all 6 of them were in a way randomly picked by Mr. Johnny. The members are Sakamoto Masayuki, Nagano Hiroshi, Inohara Yoshihiko(20th Century/Tonisen), Morita Go, Miyake Ken and Okada Junichi(Coming Century/Kamisen). What is there not to love about a group  where their oldest and youngest have an age difference of nearly 10 years? Next to the fact that Okada is in the group, this age factor is one of the interesting point of becoming a fan of V6.

Musically, I think V6 is the only group besides Arashi that can make me sit through their con DVD without me wanting to fast forward some of their songs(I have done this watching SMAP's, News's and Kanjani8's DVD cons >.< so yeah). And V6 to me has the most songs that will make me fell 'nostalgic', example: Can Do! Can Go! and Believe Your Smile that I used to always hear when watching all the Sugao con clips. Or as stated before, Feel Your Breeze(Gokusen ending theme) & Darling(Kimi wa petto ending theme). Or just simply the songs that I use to watch in Youtube(Thunderbirds, Over, Ai Nanda,  Ai no Melody, Arigatou no Uta and a whole lot more, which actually explains why I always feel nostalgic whenever I watch their concert DVD) and while their early songs were very techno-ish their recent songs have mellowed out and are so much <3. It also amuses me that the intro for Arashi's Believe sounds so much like V6's Light in Your Heart(I love all this teeny bits of random coincidence that associate Arashi with V6 XD)

And another obvious point to love about V6 is of course their dancing, I mean, they are in their 14th year and their debut song's choreography in the concerts are mostly the same as when they performed it 14 years ago(and the fact that their oldest member's gonna turn 40 in 2 years makes it all the more awesome XD). And in their Voyager DVD, they performed Can Do! Can go! and all 6 of them somersaulted off the mainstages' center platform onto the mainstage itself and I fell in love with the song all over again XD(I fell in love with the song when 50+ juniors danced to it in perfect synch in Sugao XD V6 showed them who owned that song XD). The dance aspect of their performance is the one aspect that I will be following with the most interest, just to see how they balance out the aging bodies of  Tonisen and Kamisen. But as it is, Tonisen are pretty top form and they are probably as healthy as you can be XD.

And for me, having good songs or synchronized dancing, though helps alot, will not keep my interest in the group for a long time, for Arashi, its D and G no Arashi, as well as their secret talks, for V6 its their 11-year-running bangumi, Gakkou e Ikou(GeI), which unfortunately ended last summer, but their new bangumi takes a while to warm up to, but if you are in the right mood, it can be interesting XD. All those summer/autumn trips they had during GeI showed us their group dynamics and I'm seriously a sucker for those kinds of trips(this is the reason why I am so freaking happy that Arashi has a bangumi with TBS now, TBS seems to love to send V6 to the summer/autumn trips, so I am very looking forward to summer and especially for their 10th anniversary, *who can forget the 10th anniversary trip V6 had with Gakkou e Ikou, I really hope Arashi has that opportunity too XD*)

I want to spazz about the members next, I'll probably make a new entry for that just to increase my post count.

Lesson learnt while typing this post, never ever type an entry while watching a concert. D.I.S.T.R.A.C.T.I.N.G

Just thought that if I don't have that much to do better update at least my vox XD

So one thing that is worth celebrating from today so far is the news of Ohno's new Drama XD 'Uta no Oniisan'. Yay for being able to see a singing and dancing Ohno on a weekly basis XDDDDDDD

And he'll be working with kids. I have a feeling that a few ovaries will pop in the 3 months that the drama will be airing.

When I first saw the newspaper clipping the first thing that came to my mind was 'OMG! Is it a drama based on Sakana-kun???!!!' cos that outfit looks very similar to Sakana-kun's outfit. Thank god my first impression of what the drama's gonna be about is wrong. I am very very happy nonetheless with this project being given to Ohno, because ever since Maou ended I have wanted him to shed that Maou-stereotype that he had on while working on Maou, and what better way to shed that stereotype by playing a struggling children program's personality XD *and now if only someone could shed their previous stereotype too*

I think I like this out of the blue kind of announcement, with just a month and a bit left till it starts airing, it doesn't take that long for us fans to know who the rest of the cast are.. I just don't think I can take another round of banter about who's gonna play what like what happened when Maou or Ryusei no Kizuna was announced.

And now if only there were any drama for Aiba-chan (renzoku or tanpatsu is ok XD just as long as he gets to act. I want to see him on those tv shows where he'll get to promote his project *like tfp or hanamaru cafe or hanetobi or the likes, ouh I'm greedy~ XD*

OK! I'm out of things to say now XD
